This national park is best known among many famous national park as the background for Jungle Book of Rudyard Kipling, featuring a very high visibility due to the fact that a large part of open meadows cover this park. Besides tigers, you can spot many other wildlife animals such as gaur, black buck, jackal, porcupine, palm squirrel, striped hyena, chinkara, mouse deer, sambar and others. The best way to see tigers is by joining the early morning elephant safari trip from Mukki gate of the park.
